Management Training Course

This course will aid managers in becoming more effective and efficient.

Participants will have been nominated and sponsored by the pharmacy owner. The innovative design of the course provides several features that make it the most powerful program of its kind. It is designed to be interactive and ongoing. It offers continuing exploration of leadership and management practices. This aspect establishes practical, continuing support for the participants. It is well established that continuous coaching is much more effective in support of learning new skills than simply having the concepts presented in several classes.

The continuing nature of this course will enable the participants to explore real life management issues that will be valuable to them in solving day-to-day challenges. It is envisioned that the group will form a community, or network, to provide learning resources within the group itself. For these reasons attendance at all meetings will be required. Make up sessions will be available via recordings. There will be a quiz available on line after some classes to monitor progress and to provide positive reinforcement of the training. Nominees for this course should also be committed to completing any work that is required in preparation for the sessions.

The facilitator of the program is Paul E. Simpson, a senior PDS coach, who has an extensive business and corporate background as well as many years of coaching experience.
